Simply Amazing!

Starting this morning extremely overwhelmed! I have been selected as a finalist for the BizMums “Online Mum of the Year 2017” Award!

I truly did not expect to achieve such an accolade and yet now I have, it makes me all the more hungry for the final and to aspire to win the category.

For those who know me, I am extremely driven (sometimes annoyingly so!) but I always strive to prove my value and provide the best life and experiences for my son.

Running your own business (be you male or female) comes with its own set of challenges, regardless of individual circumstances. I have to say  I love my life at the moment and all the challenges, posed to me and I keep striving forward!

Setting up Bell4Business Limited was a huge gamble for me, being sole provider for our household, it was a scary prospect. With support, encouragement and some amazing clients, I can say I’m overwhelmed and none of this would be possible without help from all my family, friends & business contacts.

I’m grateful for the network of amazing local business people I regularly meet with and how we all support each other and our businesses.

So here’s to the awards presentation on Sunday 8th October at The Manor House Hotel in Alsager, Cheshire and keeping everything crossed!!!

Louise Bell received 2 BizMums Award Nominations!


Louise Bell of Bell4Business Limited has been nominated for not one but two awards in the forthcoming BizMums Awards.

The categories are BizMums Network Marketing Mum of the Year Award and Online Mum of the Year Award.

Predominantly working in and around the Property Industry, Louise has been involved with several organisations such as the Hull Business Women’s Breakfast, Humber Landlords Association, The Business Network Hull and the Chamber of Commerce Hull & Humber

18 months ago, Louise set up Bell4Business Limited to help businesses of all sizes, outsource office work cost-effectively. Undertaking tasks such as social media management, marketing, book-keeping and general admin. Louise has grown the business from just herself as the sole employee, to now employing two further team members. With plans for expansion already mapped out, over the coming months Bell4Business will introduce in-house training courses such as Social Media, Customer Care and Time Management.

Louise has been nominated and received several accolades over the years and in her own words “is extremely proud how far she has come and humble to be regarded by some as the go-to person for networking in the Humber region”.

Louise said she is “over-whelmed” that she has been nominated for these two awards. When speaking with Louise she said “We have many inspirational business women in our area. I am lucky enough to have learnt many hints and tips from these ladies along the way. I will do everything I can to fly the flag for Hull, mums in business and my own little company Bell4Business. Teamed with Hull City of Culture, we have many exciting things to look forward to and this personally for me is one of them!”

Winners will be announced on Sunday, October 8th, 2017, at the annual BizMums Conference & Awards at the Manor House in Alsager, Cheshire. The day will bring together 100’s of mums in business from across the region to network, learn and celebrate each other’s achievements of the past 12 months

Bell4Business has motioned growth ambitions by appointing a full-time Apprentice Assistant

Bell4Business based in East Yorkshire has motioned growth ambitions by appointing a full-time Administration Assistant.

Mia Staves joined the company 6 weeks ago and has proved a valuable addition already. Speaking to Louise Bell, Director “I have always seen the value of employing Apprentices and I’m so pleased with how Mia has settled in. I have worked with and on behalf of YH Training Services in Hull and I have been really impressed how they handle their recruitment/training processes. They were a natural choice when I decided to take my business to the next level”. Louise further explained there are changes to the Apprentice Funding System, firstly the introduction of the apprenticeship levy, apprenticeship service and ‘co-investment’ rate to support employers who don’t pay the levy. The ‘co-investment’ is when employers and government share the cost of training and assessing apprentices. She said, “This should not put employers off and by using a training provider, they are able to best advise and steer you through a really easy process, thus leaving you to reap the benefits of employing an apprentice.”

Established in 2016 the business has recently become Limited and grown from Louise working for several local businesses to now employing Mia full time and a second part time Assistant, Toby Evans. Bell4Business offer services ranging from social media management, marketing, book-keeping, telephone answering and general admin.

Louise explained “I have been self-employed for the best part of 12 years, I’m a keen networker and I’ve built up a fantastic array of contacts over this time and continue to do so. I get a real kick out of helping business grow and seeing individuals take back a little time for themselves by letting us take care of the day to day necessary work.”

Louise further explained “I have always been passionate and committed to employing, buying, supporting and promoting locally. Although we are currently looking to expand our portfolio of businesses, we are extremely proud to have the customers we already work alongside. Our current customers cover businesses from The Karri Clinic a Plastic Surgeons in Willerby to EP Warmfloor, an Underfloor Heating company from Scunthorpe and everything in-between, it is fair to say we never get bored!”
